Carlos Salcido has the clear goal to be the leader of the Mexican table, but he said he did not lose any sleep over the appointment.

After having hesitated to leave the Mexican team to devote himself 100 percent to his club after the World Cup South Africa 2010, Salcido's speech today was on reaching the next World Cup.

Regarding the game against the Vinotinto, Salcido stressed the importance of starting 2012 with the right foot for the commitments they have for the pre Olympics and then the Olympic Qualifying Round.
