Guatemala's press reported on Tuesday that three players from Comunicaciones, one of the biggest clubs in this country, Fredy Thompson, Marvin Ceballos and Adolfo Machado, tested positive for doping.
The media emphasizes that the players were cited by the Medical Commission of the Guatemala Soccer Federation to be heard about possible releases. Machado is a Panamanian defense of the national team of his country and formerly of the Marathon of Honduras.

According to Robles, FEDEFUT doctor, it is part of the adverse to have analytical findings to identify and refer those involved to a hearing those who in most cases are positive for doping.

Unofficially it was known that the players who were undergoing tests in the semifinal and final instance in the Apertura in this Central American country, tested positive for the substance Boldenone, a steroid derivative of testosterone used to gain muscle mass and strength.
If doping is proven the players are at risk of punishment of between one and two years of suspension. At the time of publication of this article no player, or managers of Communications has said anything about it.
