The thesis states that the Governors of the PRI, as well as former Governors of this party, have fared quite well as leaders of opposition. The likely arrival of Enrique Peña Nieto to Los Pinos surely would not be so convenient for many, especially if the rules that have governed the relationship between the President of the Republic and the Governors of the PRI for twelve years would be changed. But in the next six years would have to also consider a review of the conduct of current Governors of the PAN and the PRD, in case that PRI win presidential elections, next July 1st.

Today we will talk about the PRI governors who are about to leave their dutties as State leaders and their context of relationship with their single candidate for the Presidency of the Republic.

The concurrent elections for next July will be for PRI Governors of Yucatan and Tabasco. In Chiapas, Guanajuato, Jalisco and Morelos PRI is opposition.

In Yucatan there already is a candidate and represents a seeming continuity with the current of Ivonne Ortega Pacheco. There the definition by Peña Nieto of the outgoing Governesses was clear and timely. It is very likely that the PRI retained the governorship. Aided by decomposition suffering as a result of the national PAN crisis, this party is seriously out of joint.

In Tabasco things have very interesting variables. The current Governor Andres Granier Melo is very similar to the Madrazo way. And the prospect that brings Madrazo is the Secretary of Health. It is still in the game the Mayor of Villahermosa Jesus Ali de la Torre, who would represent the en of the Roberto Madrazo chieftain era.

In Tabasco the danger for the PRI is that it is likely that the PRD and its retainers postulate Arturo Nuñez Jimenez, people that has proven field work when he ran for Congressman and widely won his district. A candidate which bears the handicap in favour the fact that Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador has a large base built from his native Macuspana to cover all the entity.

Neither Andres Grannier, neither the candidate of Roberto Madrazo give guarantees to Enrique Peña that Tabasco will be preserved in the power of the PRI.

In Jalisco just unveiled the Mayor of Guadalajara, Aristoteles Sandoval, which is in a very favorable situation for the PRI to regain the State Government. A good joint job with Enrique Peña and Pedro Joaquín Coldwell succeeded in assure the applicants and they become attached to the recon quest of the former Nueva Galicia.

In favor to Aristoteles Sandoval is the general discontent by the detachment of the current PAN Governor, Emilio Gonzalez, who is a true case of Jalisco folklore in all its expressions. Drunk, partying and glued to the skirts of the bishops. Emilio will be the decision factor in choosing the candidate of the PAN to the Government of Jalisco.

In Morelos things does not seem good for PAN. The Governments of their coreligionists Marco Adame Castillo, and oops! Sergio Estrada Cajigal had been a real disaster. Insecurity, there was born the peace movement headed by the poet Javier Sicilia, decay of tourism, rampant unemployment and no promotion in the industrial corridors of the entity.

PRI has two options. The one that seems natural is that of the Mayor of Cuernavaca, simile politician to the Jalisco where the current PRI candidate for Governor was Mayor of the capital city of the State, Manuel Martinez Garrigos.

The other option is the pricambric, Amado Orihuela, with peasant roots but with a profile already exceeded by the current conditions of Mexico.

The winning option is Martinez Garrigos, who struggles against the force of the PRI dinosaurs who support Orihuela.

In Chiapas began to pay assessed contributions to the partnership. The Green Party won with a good candidate, which was theirs and who competed for the governorship. Senator Manuel Velasco.

It is likely to hold a closed competition with MORENA, but until now polls point winner the Green postulated in coalition with the PRI and the PANAL.

Guanajuato is the end of crossword for Enrique Peña and Pedro Joaquin Coldwell.

They compete for the nomination, in order of appearance in the polls, Juan Ignacio Torres Landa (16%), Miguel Chico (9%) and Francisco Arroyo (6%).

Who is considered a real competitor to Juan Manuel Oliva’s dolphin, Miguel Marquez, is without doubt, Juan Ignacio Torres Landa. And that logic shown so far by Enrique Peña Nieto and Pedro Joaquin Coldwell, the outcome would end favoring of Torres Landa.
