Hubert Ingraham, Prime Minister of the Bahamas and other authorities rely on the tourist market recovery during 2012 in the Caribbean nation.

This year began with the hope that mark a new stage in the recovery and the resumption of sustained growth of tourism in the region.

During the opening of Hotel Caribe Resort at Atlantis, Ingraham noted: the first signs of improvement are evident, we have seen a strong rebound in arrivals to the Bahamas since last November. The most encouraging thing was that visitors spend more time with us and improve customer satisfaction levels.

The prime minister stressed his government's measures to promote the revival of the so-called smokeless industry, including construction work in several projects.

The campaign made by the government in improving infrastructure has had a dual purpose: to give greater value to long-term important places and creating new employment and business opportunities in times of suspension.
