Federal Deputy National Action (PAN), Jose Mendez Erandi Bermudez, reiterated respect for the gay community in Mexico and unions between same sex.

"I personally respect homosexuals and I have nothing against them, and I agree in a contract of cohabitation in the Federal District, said in an interview in San Lazaro.

When asked about his stance on the controversy that the government of Guanajuato and other extractive PAN brought before the Court and was eventually rejected by the country's of highest court, said the decision should be respected.
